| Beginner’s Level – Poets will plunge into imagery and rhyme in the first lesson, followed by poetic terms. Students will learn the difference between poetry and prose, perfect rhyme and near rhyme, meter, Show, Don’t Tell, caesura, scansion, analysis, gleaning inspiration, and other learning tools. *Students must have a good command of English, know proper punctuation and have good sentence structure. Count on 60 minutes of homework a week. |
